Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to operate and support the Powder Coat Line in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will read and interpret work instructions, enter data into databases, and ensure measurements and quality standards are met.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to maintain safety, detect non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement across the coating processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associates in coatings tech preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and written directions.
• Computer literacy and data entry in database systems.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and tape measures.
• Basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Understands equipment and standards in the Generator enclosure and power switchgear product areas.
• Identify and follow proper procedure for non-conforming material; track discrepancies.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality for compliance and continual improvement.
• Level 1: load/unload the Powder Coat Line; read documents; complete work timely; follow procedures.
• Limit travel; operate in a fast-paced powder coat environment; lift up to 60 lbs; use HMIs and related equipment.
