The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high technology, manufacturing environment and works well in a matrix structure across all levels of the organization.# DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application* Prepare, match colors and mix standard and other primers, paints and coatings to proper consistency and viscosity, using thinners, solvents, additives and agitators as required.* Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash and pretreatments* Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects* Determine paint flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using viscometers* Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance* Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment* Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipment* Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.* Follow quality service and safety standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.## Qualifications* One to two years related experience or equivalent.* Commitment to excellence and high standards* Ability to manage priorities and workflow
