Job summary

Kids for the Future in Orrville, OH seeks a Team Leader to supervise painting activities, coordinate loading/unloading, and ensure quality and safety goals are met on the paint line. The role includes assisting with pretreat and paint records, color changes, and tool/fixturing development under the Paint Line Supervisor.

You will lead daily line priorities, guide team members, and help drive cost and quality improvements through effective hang density and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• One to three years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates painters and other workers on the paint line.
• Assists with production coordination and loading/unloading as directed by Paint Supervisor.
• Reads and interprets specifications and related data to determine tooling requirements and sequences.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Maintains records of paint issued and inventory of supplies; checks equipment for proper operation.
• Reports malfunctions to maintenance and supports continuous improvement of hanging standards and quality.
