Job summary

Allegion Snoqualmie site is seeking an entry‑level Powder Coat Processor to support the pre‑finishing and coating of metal door and frame systems. You will operate the 5‑stage pre‑finishing line, apply coatings per TDs, and document every step to ensure quality and traceability.

You will maintain equipment, assist with safety protocols, and collaborate with teams to meet schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with preferred but not required manufacturing, powder coating, or pre-finishing experience.
• Must provide high quality internal customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify color differences.
• Ability to stay organized and communicate efficiently to complete tasks in a limited timeframe.
• Ability to receive and provide instructions positively.
• Able to work in hot, humid environments.
• Remains alert in a high‑risk environment.
• Maintains schedule despite interruptions.
• Non-conforming parts may impact schedule and costs.

• Sound judgment around production cells and orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the 5-stage pre-finishing system.
• Record and maintain pre-finishing and finishing documentation.
• Identify surface characteristics and ensure proper coating preparation.
• View product for defects before entering coating booth.
• Apply coatings per Technical Data Sheet and ensure cure time/temperature.
• Perform quality certification testing and record results.
• Prepare parts for rework to correct coating defects.
• Maintain cure ovens operation and safety checks.
• Set up rigging, scaffolding and operate lifts/cranes as needed.
• Use power tools, sandblasting and pressure washing equipment.
• Wear PPE as required and follow safety regulations.
• Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures.
