Job summary

Life Fitness/Hammer Strength is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for a weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 5:00 AM-5:30 PM) in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The base wage ranges from $20.70 to $24.60 per hour, with overtime eligibility after 36 hours per week.

You will prepare, mask, and stage parts for painting, operate powder coating equipment, and ensure quality through inspection. Responsibilities include maintaining paint quality, performing maintenance on the line, and keeping a clean, safe

Responsibilities

• Operate paint booths, spray equipment, and controls for powder coat finishes.
• Inspect parts before and after painting to ensure quality.
• Monitor paint quality and adjust as needed throughout production.
• Perform routine cleaning, startup/shutdown, and preventive maintenance on paint line equipment.
• Safely operate hoists and other material-handling equipment.
• Report equipment issues, supply needs, and quality concerns to the Supervisor or Lead.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other production activities as needed.

About the Opportunity

Powder Coat Painter - Weekend Shift Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength as a Painter on our weekend shift and help build high-quality strength and fitness equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role you'll help produce high-quality finished products by preparing, painting, inspecting, and handling components throughout the powder coating process.

This full-time position offers a base wage of $20.70 to $24.60 (depending on experience) plus overtime eligibility after only 36 hours worked per week.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, mask, and stage parts for painting.

What We're Looking For

• Previous electrostatic powder coating paint experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed and work under schedule and time restrictions with limited supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to 2 lbs constantly, 35 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs rarely.
• Push/pull up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead, climb stairs and grasp tools as necessary.
• Successfully complete a pulmonary function test and wear respirator as required.
