Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is hiring a Painter I on the 1st shift to safely operate powder coat painting processes and prepare parts for assembly.

The position requires following established procedures, loading and unloading parts, inspecting quality, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in a high-heat manufacturing setting.

Previous painting experience with powder paint systems is preferred, with a pay rate of $22.85 per hour and a Tuesday–Friday schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transferring, and unloading of parts on and/or from paint line
• Process each part by hanging/racking to paint application
• Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process
• Perform work duties in a safe manner and in accordance with policy
• Constantly work in a constantly high heat environment
• Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process
• Exchange and break down racks and prepare for burn-off
• Maintain proper counts
• Report all scrap
• Perform stock handling duties as required
• Maintain a clean work environment
