Job summary

BeaverDam123 is seeking an experienced painter to apply powder or liquid finishes to parts moving on a production line. The role emphasizes achieving required film thickness, cosmetic quality, and safety adherence.

Training covers gun operation, viscosity control, masking, and routine equipment maintenance. Responsibilities include following paint procedures, surface preparation, masking, loading/unloading parts, and supporting the line with efficient finishes and waste handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting processes and finishes.
• Ability to follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Willingness to perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules at all times.
• Operate gun, pump, and related equipment; adjust for quality and economy.
• Apply primer or finish coat with correct procedures and overlaps.
• Prepare surfaces and apply masking where needed.
• May operate E-coat system load control panel.
• Mix coatings to required color, viscosity and consistency.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and adjust settings for best finish.
• Move and rack workpieces on conveyors and transfer parts between stations.
• Load materials and dispose of hazardous waste per training.
