Job summary

I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp in Missouri is seeking a 1st shift Powder Coat Line Worker to join our team. You will operate the powder coating line, load and unload parts, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

Previous powder coat experience is a plus; ability to read instructions and specs; lift up to 50 lbs; we offer competitive benefits and a family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Can read and understand instructions/information on technical drawings and job travelers.
• Must be able to follow verbal directions.
• Previous powder coat experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the powder coating line including loading, painting, curing, and packaging parts efficiently.
• Read and interpret job travelers and technical drawings to ensure correct parts.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety on the powder coat line.
• Ensure parts meet the print/traveler specifications.
• Learn and manage the entire powder coat/paint line process.
• Prepare and package finished parts to minimise damage during transit.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Processes product through the powder coating paint system including loading, unloading, cleaning, painting, curing, and packaging operations quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail and quality
• Can read and understand instructions/information on technical drawings and job travelers
• Ensures parts are correct based off of the print/traveler
• Ability to learn and manage the entire process of the powder coat/paint line
• Maintain a clean work space
• Ensures compliance with safety requirements
• Package completed parts in a way that ensures minimum damage during transit

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to follow verbal directions
• Previous powder coat experience is a plus
