Job summary

I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp is hiring for a 1st shift Powder Coat Line Worker. The role includes operating the powder coating line, loading/unloading, curing, and packaging finished parts while maintaining quality and safety.

Prior powder coat experience is a plus, and the candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow verbal directions. We offer base pay, paid vacation and holidays, health, dental, life, vision, and a 401K plan.

Responsibilities

• Operate powder coating line including loading, painting, curing, and packaging.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job travelers.
• Ensure parts meet print specifications and traveler instructions.
• Learn and manage the entire powder coat/paint line process.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Processes product through the powder coating paint system including loading, unloading, cleaning, painting, curing, and packaging operations quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail and quality
• Can read and understand instructions/information on technical drawings and job travelers
• Ensures parts are correct based off of the print/traveler
• Ability to learn and manage the entire process of the powder coat/paint line
• Maintain a clean work space
• Ensures compliance with safety requirements
• Package completed parts in a way that ensures minimum damage during transit
