Prestage Farms is seeking a Vaccine Coordinator/Service Assistant to support poultry health and productivity through timely vaccine administration. You will coordinate aMPV vaccinations, assist with on-farm operations, and support research tasks across multiple farm locations.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to follow strict biosecurity protocols, and a valid driver’s license with the willingness to travel. Some weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry farming or animal agriculture preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Ability to follow biosecurity and vaccination protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between farm locations.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in farm environments.
• Some weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aMPV vaccinations for commercial farms with management.
• Communicate with growers and service personnel to schedule vaccination timing.
• Deliver sprayers, vaccines, and supplies to farms for events.
• Administer vaccines and ensure vaccination protocols are followed.
• Track and monitor vaccine inventory and storage conditions.
• Assist with poult placements and weigh research birds when needed.
• Help set up and break down equipment for research buildings.
• Aid growers during high mortality events or turkey loadouts when necessary.
