Stoltzfus Meats, Inc. is seeking a Poultry Clerk to support the poultry stand at New Castle Farmers Market. You will prepare, label, and stock poultry products, keep displays appealing, and deliver friendly customer service throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, label, and stock poultry products according to department standards
• Keep display cases full, organized, fresh, and visually appealing throughout the day
• Monitor product quality and freshness and follow proper product rotation practices
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service, including assisting customers with product questions and selections
• Maintain clean and organized counters, equipment, prep areas, and workspaces
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and company procedures
• Assist with daily department setup, preparation, stocking, and closing responsibilities
• Support inventory awareness by communicating product needs or shortages to department leadership
• Work cooperatively with other poultry team members and departments throughout the market
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both customers and coworkers
