Job summary

One Fine Family, based in Baltimore, is hiring a FSQA Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the highest quality of our poultry products on the production lines. You will perform regular QA checks and monitor processes to uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, auditing procedures, tracking temperatures and dates, labeling quality, and supporting production with QA issues on a fast-paced food manufacturing floor. HACCP knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to practice good personal hygiene.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Work extended hours, weekends and overtime if needed.
• Experience in food manufacturing or processing a plus.
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Basic computer skills.
• HACCP plan certification preferred.
• Material handling equipment (MHE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular quality checks.
• Inspect and monitor processes and products.
• Audit process by using specifications.
• Monitor meat quality and code dates to ensure proper dates.
• Monitor packaging and labeling for quality issues.
• Monitor team members for GMP compliance.
• Monitor temperatures of products.
• Conduct housekeeping checks.
• Monitor weight control checks.
• Retain product when needed and document QA holds.
• Assist production with quality issues.
