Job summary

Tyson Foods in Forest, MS is hiring a Grader Labor team member responsible for inspecting, sorting, and grading poultry products to ensure quality, safety, and customer specifications. You will identify defects, remove non-conforming product, and maintain a clean, safe production line.

This 2nd shift position offers $17.45 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and work according to USDA and company food-safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and comply with shift rules.
• This facility requires background checks for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect poultry products for defects and non-conforming conditions.
• Sort and grade products to standards and customer specs.
• Remove defective product from the line.
• Maintain production flow while meeting quality expectations.
• Follow USDA, food safety, and QA requirements.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors and QA staff.
• Assist with line setup, product handling, and housekeeping.
• Maintain a clean, sanitation-compliant work area.
• Adhere to animal welfare, safety, and workplace policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
