Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Mount Vernon, TX is seeking Production Hourly team members. In this hands-on role you’ll work on the processing line performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting poultry to meet strict safety and quality standards.

You’ll operate equipment, maintain a clean area, and follow all safety and biosecurity guidelines. This fast-paced, team-focused position rewards reliability and willingness to learn, with opportunities to grow as you rotate through different

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask, good communication, follow simple instructions, and be a team player.
• Physical: Work in cool temperatures and stand 8-11 hours.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products following USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety/food safety guidelines.
• Support team members and promote a positive work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production.
• Other duties as assigned.
