Job summary

Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch is offering a paid, 12-week Summer Internship Program for students pursuing agriculture-related studies. You’ll partner with Flock Service, Manure, Maintenance and Service Crew to learn pullet and layer site operations across Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.

Expect project planning, data analysis, and reporting while contributing to safety and compliance. You will support project management, problem-solving, and daily on-site activities, with opportunities for field

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Poultry Science, Poultry Management, or Agribusiness).
• Experience in an agricultural environment preferred; biosecurity requires no birds or swine during internship.
• Some mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production input and output data and develop project scopes.
• Create and maintain project timelines and schedules.
• Support project kick-offs and coordinate safety audits.
• Communicate with multiple farm teams and document progress.
• Assist with daily reports and project close-out.
