Herbruck Poultry Ranch in Michigan is seeking a Production I for a full-time, hourly role focused on beginner-level animal welfare. You will learn the factors affecting the health and well-being of our birds and support daily farm operations.

The position emphasizes hands-on duties such as cleaning barns, pest management, maintaining feed and water lines, manure handling, and monitoring environmental conditions to ensure bird welfare and safe production.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Basic understanding of animal welfare and Herbruck’s standard of care.
• No contact with birds, swine, or cattle.

Responsabilidades

• Clean barns and equipment.
• Pest management.
• Maintain feed and water lines.
• Collect and process manure.
• Monitor bird welfare factors such as lighting, airflow, and temperature.
• Basic maintenance of equipment (feed and water lines, egg belts, manure belts).
• Assist with mislaid egg collection.
• Perform daily and weekly duties; additional duties as assigned.
