Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Hourly team member in Texas to help deliver safe, high-quality poultry products on the processing line. You’ll perform tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting, operate equipment, and keep a clean, organized workspace while following safety and biosecurity guidelines.

This hands‑on role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability. Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend work, and a base pay of $15.85/hour plus a $1.00 shift

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask, good communication, follow simple instructions, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products following USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
