Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking team-oriented workers to rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader roles to maintain line speeds on poultry products.

On a moving conveyor, you will pack and weigh product, pull bones, inspect for quality, and remove items that don\u2019t meet standards while following LEAN guidelines.

You will collaborate with teammates in a cold, wet plant, lift up to 55 pounds, and participate in ongoing improvements and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry or food processing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Able to stand for long shifts in cold environment.
• Must work well in a team and follow LEAN principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate on a moving conveyor belt and pack/weight product.
• Inspect, grade, and remove product not meeting standards.
• Coordinate with team to follow policies and improve processes.
• Rotate between packer, scaler, styler and grader as needed.
