Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, conveyors and gearboxes, general building tasks, and occasional grounds work. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with solid mechanical aptitude and welding knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience.
• Welding and cutting torch knowledge required.
• Valid driver's license; ability to obtain Nebraska Class A CDL and meet DOT requirements.
• Able to work at heights and in dusty agricultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on poultry house equipment and systems.
• Maintain conveyors, gears, belts, chains and related equipment.
• Complete general building, grounds, and facility maintenance projects.
• Assist with mowing, landscaping, and manure handling duties as needed.
• Collect and dispose of deceased birds and support fly control and trash removal.
• Work with supervisors to minimize downtime and follow safety policies.
