Michael Foods, Inc. in Bloomfield, Nebraska, is seeking a regular full-time Maintenance position to keep houses and equipment in good operating condition.

The role uses a preventative maintenance program to ensure production processes run efficiently at our cage-free facility. Responsibilities include maintaining conveyors, baffles, belts, and gear boxes, collaborating with supervisors and peers, and performing yard and mill tasks as needed.

Competenze

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must have good mechanical knowledge and be able to read and understand oral and written instruction.
• Welding and cutting torch knowledge is required.
• Must meet all DOT driving requirements and have a valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Follow a preventative maintenance program to keep houses and equipment in good operating condition.
• Maintain all conveyors, cross collections, baffle systems, belts, drive chains, gear boxes, etc.
• Work closely with supervisor and coworkers in all departments.
• Perform collection and disposal of dead birds, trash pickup and fly control.
• Include mill maintenance, outside maintenance, mowing and landscaping as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
