Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Ranch Associate in Burlington, WA to maintain clean, safe poultry barns and support daily operations. You will focus on barn sanitation and animal care, working under supervision to ensure biosecurity and high production standards.

The role involves field duties, vaccine handling, equipment care, and coordination with Grow Out management to optimize bird health and performance. This is a hands-on, on-site position with regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years of work experience preferred.
• Good communication, reading, math and analytical skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Mix and administer vaccines to flocks as prescribed by Grow Out management.
• Manage field feed inventories and rodent bait stations; monitor temperatures and generators.
• Provide weekly reports on bird health and vaccination status.
• Communicate daily with Grow Out management regarding scheduling and issues.
• Coordinate vaccine inventory and usage with the Medication Department.
• Care for and maintain vaccination equipment; handle vaccines safely and dispose properly.
• Operate company vehicle safely and follow biosecurity and safety policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to PPE and safety rules.
