Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Ranch Associate in Wilton, CA to maintain clean, safe poultry barns and support bio-security and animal care. The role focuses on sanitation, daily operations, and ensuring production standards are met under supervision.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm with a base rate of $20 per hour plus potential pay premiums, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, 401(k), life and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
• Good communication (oral and written), reading, math, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Mix and administer vaccines to flocks as prescribed.
• Conduct field tasks like inventories and temperature monitoring.
• Provide weekly bird-health reports to Grow Out Manager.
• Coordinate vaccine inventory with the Medication Department.
• Maintain vaccination equipment and biosecurity procedures.
• Operate a company vehicle following safety and policy.
• Follow PPE and Lockout-Tagout procedures and other safety rules.
