Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Poultry Testing Technician to support health programs by collecting and testing blood samples, monitoring flock health, and maintaining accurate records. You will work with farm managers, veterinarians, and animal health professionals while upholding biosecurity and animal welfare standards.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, comfort with poultry handling, and the ability to work independently in farm environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and data/documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection of blood samples and vaccines.
• Record and maintain health and testing records for flocks.
• Perform routine laboratory testing and quality checks.
• Follow biosecurity, sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with farm managers, veterinarians and health personnel.
• Maintain equipment and testing areas in a clean, organized manner.
