Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Operator – Hatchery who will operate machinery and manage product flow while maintaining a safe work environment. You will run Embrex vaccinators, manage vaccine mixtures, and document preparations to ensure accountability and adherence to MP-PVP and Animal Welfare protocols.

Candidates must be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 70 lbs., work in wet and loud conditions, and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Standing for 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to work in wet and/or humid conditions.
• Able to work in an environment where the noise level is usually loud.
• Wear all PPE as required.
• Candidate must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate Embrex vaccinators and manage a.m. cycles before operation and p.m. cycles after vaccination.
• Maintain vaccine mixture and ensure contract labor meets company standards.
• Document mixing and vaccine preparations for accountability and follow MP-PVP guidelines as well as Animal Welfare protocol.
