Job summary

Cobb is hiring for a general labor position in the Cobb facility, with duties including vaccination, blood pull, and movement of Cobb products at contract farms. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 am - 1:00 pm, with a biosecure work environment and comprehensive benefits available from day 1 of full-time hire. Applicants must reside in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
• Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs selection, vaccination, blood pull, movement, clean out of all Cobb products/facilities. (35%)
• Loads Cobb products into modules and on to the truck for transport to designated processing plant. (35%)
• Cleans and disinfects Cobb poultry houses, vehicles, modules and equipment. (20%)
• Duties may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as: Participates in research trials weighing meat, handling knives and reading scales as needed, sprays insecticides as needed, collects samples of surface area with drag swabs or swabs birds for health inspection. (10%)
