Job summary

Cobb is seeking a dedicated laborist to support vaccination, blood pulls, and movement of Cobb products across contract farms. You will perform essential handling tasks and assist with loading and transport to processing facilities.

Physical work is required, with duties potentially expanding to related tasks. Position emphasizes safety, adherence to biosecurity and ability to work mornings on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps longer than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If laid off or providing child or elder care, gaps may extend to 18 months.
• Rehire requires a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire rule allows no more than 3 times at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

• Performs selection, vaccination, blood pull, movement and clean out of Cobb products/facilities.
• Loads Cobb products into modules and onto the truck for transport to processing plant.
• Cleans and disinfects Cobb poultry houses, vehicles, modules and equipment.
• Duties may change; may participate in research trials and other tasks.
