Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Poultry Disease Program Facilitator to support state and federal poultry health initiatives across North Carolina. You will schedule testing, conduct inspections and audits, and ensure compliance with NCDA&CS Veterinary Division regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Ability to speak to structure of US poultry industry and product flows.
• Experience applying on-farm biosecurity principles in animal agriculture.
• Understanding of frequent biosecurity pitfalls in poultry industry.
• Knowledge of animal disposal methodologies/technologies and practical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate state and federal poultry disease programs (NPIP/BCAP) through scheduling/testing and audits.
• Oversee compliance with NCDA&CS Veterinary Division regulations.
• Investigate and document complaints; draft official warnings and civil penalties as needed.
• Conduct on-site audits and test visits across assigned counties; travel required.
