Job summary

Simmons is seeking a Debone production team member to operate on a rotation basis across all Debone line positions. You will rotate through cutting breasts and wings, skin pulling, saw usage, loading products, tray packing, and other Debone tasks.

You will participate in team activities, support continuous improvement, and help implement team concepts and policies. The role requires adherence to Simmons’ operating systems and safety standards in a cold production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry or food processing preferred.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for long hours.
• Willingness to rotate between production roles.

Responsibilities

• To be fluent in all Debone production work on a rotation basis.
• Performs all positions on the line in Debone.
• Rotates positions to include cutting breasts, wings; pulling skin; using a saw; loading product; tray packing and any other position in Debone.
• Participates as a member of the Team and helps develop, communicate and implement team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members.
• Attends team meetings and fosters cohesiveness regarding major issues; reports issues to team leader for resolution.
• Familiar with Simmons operating systems principles (quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN); supports these systems and communicates concerns and improvement ideas.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
