Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic with money, weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Provide proper water and feed to chickens and maintain the house environment.
• Keep daily records on water, feed, mortality, ventilation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with coworkers, leads, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Move birds in and out of houses and maintain accurate population counts.
• Keep feed chains and egg belts in working order and ensure clean floors.
• Maintain lights, ladders, and safety shields; monitor litter moisture.
• Perform daily mortality checks and occasional bird runs on weekends.
• Address safety policies, animal welfare policies, and report issues to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
