Cobb’s Pedigree House in Tennessee is seeking workers to care for roosters and hens, collect eggs, and maintain house conditions. The role emphasizes safety, routine quality checks, and adherence to production objectives. Training and supervision align with farm needs.

Candidates should have at least 12 months of continuous work history, be willing to stand for long periods, and work shifts including holidays. Internal applicants may receive priority consideration.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
• Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Collect eggs from nest boxes and pens; monitor egg quality and record data.
• Perform routine housekeeping per Daily Checklist; inspect and report equipment or facility needs.
• Feed and water birds; ensure feeders and drinkers are accessible and distribute feed as outlined.
• Weigh and record weights weekly; monitor bird health and administer supplements as instructed.
• Other duties may include sanitation, inventory, and relocation tasks as needed.
