ePac Holdings, LLC in Austin, TX is hiring a Pouch Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday). The operator sets up and runs pouch machines converting laminated films into customer-ready pouches, and performs changeovers, maintenance and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Manual coordination and dexterity while utilizing hand tools, cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specifications and previous run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and makes corrections.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Assists and works with assistant operators to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished boxes.
• Perform changeovers, maintenance and PM on equipment.
• Quality Control checks and production reports.
