Job Description

Pottsgrove Athletics is seeking a qualified, dedicated, and high-energy High SchoolSwimming Assistant Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of assisting the head coach of our program, including team management, player development, supervision, fostering a competitive, and sportsmanship driven environment aligned with Pottsgrove’s athletic values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the daily operations of the High School Swimming, including practice planning, game strategy, and communication.
• Maintain strict adherence to all rules, policies, and guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC).
• Foster student-athlete academic success, sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Required: Minimum of (2) years of experience coaching swimming.
• Required: Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules, eligibility criteria, and Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines.
• Preferred: Prior experience coaching interscholastic sports. Preferred: Prior experience participating in interscholastic sports.
