Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member to support potato inspection, trimming, and line duties in a fast-paced production environment.

You will rotate tasks under the Team Leader and perform rework when needed, while maintaining quality and safety standards on the production floor. Responsibilities include inspecting bags for proper seals, verifying codes, and assisting in line setup and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively and understand both verbal and written instructions.
• Must have a basic mechanical aptitude.
• Understands basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to move up and down stairs throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect potatoes for quality, trim rot, skin and defects.
• Inspect and remove FM and unpeeled potatoes as directed.
• Sort and remove defects from frozen inspection per supervisor.
• Verify bag codes and seals; shut down baggers if issues arise.
• Build and tear down totes; perform rework when line is down.
• Maintain clean workspace and shadow boards; participate in daily risk assessments.
