Job summary

University of Washington Medical Center Montlake is seeking an experienced post-partum nurse to join our magnet-designated team. You will deliver high-level postpartum care alongside obstetric, maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric teams, with access to lactation consultants daily.

The role requires at least two years of postpartum experience, an RN license, and a strong commitment to compassionate family-centered care in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• WA state RN license
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
• Two or more years of postpartum experience
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of care with Obstetric, MFM and Pediatric/Newborn teams in-house around the clock.
• Coordinate care with lactation consultants available 7 days a week.
• Collaborate with perinatal social workers for care coordination as needed.
• Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards.
