Job summary
HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL is seeking a Post-Partum Registered Nurse for the Mom Baby Department to provide skilled care for mothers and newborns in a high acuity setting. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, document results, instruct families, and administer medications according to physician orders.
Florida RN license, nursing diploma/ASN, and BLS required; NRP within 6 months.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and PC skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of mothers and/or mom/baby couplets following delivery/birth.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
