Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington RN license upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
• 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects assessment data and identifies patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Develops, reviews, and revises an individualized care plan with measurable outcomes.
• Evaluates patient responses and documents changes in condition and interventions.
• Delivers patient care using nursing principles and documents teaching/learning.
• Prepares for discharge/transfer and documents the process.
• Prioritizes care based on patient acuity and changes in clinical status.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians and colleagues and participates in rounds.
• Records complete and accurate information and handoffs at shift change.
