Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Advanced Nursing Extern to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse at Baptist Medical Center East. The extern will assist with data collection, lab specimen collection, and support the Nursing department in accordance with Alabama Board of Nursing guidelines.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be enrolled in an accredited nursing program, and have completed key nursing courses such as Fundamentals of Nursing Care,

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and actively progressing.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Support nursing department with data collection and lab specimen collection.
• Other duties within scope of role as assigned.
