Job summary

Baptist Health in Prattville is seeking an Advanced Nursing Extern to provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will support the Nursing department with technical skills, data collection, and lab specimen collection as part of the clinical team.

Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing Care, Pharmacology, and Medication Administration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required and ongoing nursing program enrollment.
• Must have completed Fundamentals of Nursing Care, Pharmacology, and Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Support Nursing department with selected technical skills, data collection and lab specimen collection.
• Duties limited to the scope of unlicensed providers acting under licensed nurse supervision.
