Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Trailer Mechanic in Newton, NC. The role focuses on repair and maintenance of Class 7-8 trailers and testing vehicle parts for proper operation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years' experience performing vehicle and trailer maintenance.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly.
• Must be able to enter and exit the driver's compartment and use footholds/handholds.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Perform DOT inspections.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic in Newton, NC! The Trailer Technicianwill be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Class 7 - 8 trailers and will operate vehicles and test all working parts in various functions to ensure proper operation.

Compensation:

Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $26-$30hr based on experience

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday 8:00AM-6:30PM (4/10)

Working Conditions:
