Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to the requirements elicitation process, participate in design discussions, and code updates in Python. You will maintain code quality, run tests, and help resolve production issues while collaborating with multiple teams across banking, wealth management, and insurance projects.

The role requires strong PostgreSQL/SQL, Python backend, and RESTful API expertise, plus experience with Unix shell scripting and data structures.

Qualifications

• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Development, and query optimization.
• Strong Python server-side backend programming. End-to-end project implementation experience.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation and document business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate features into existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and implement preventive reliability measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code and testing techniques.
