Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to drive software design and delivery for global financial services projects. You will contribute to requirements, design discussions, coding, reviews, and testing across AI-enabled and cloud-based solutions.

The role emphasizes end-to-end SDLC involvement, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on coding with a focus on reliability and maintainability. Relocation/travel may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java Backend with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience in Python, Gitlab, Terraform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is preferred.
• Experience building and scaling applications on AWS.
• Experience in SQL database.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications, focusing on stability.
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase and maintain repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth transitions to new applications.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to enhance reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich knowledge base.
