Qualifications

• 10-14 years IT infrastructure or platform engineering experience
• 6+ years production PostgreSQL at scale
• 3+ years Kubernetes for stateful workloads
• 3+ years building automation frameworks in Python/Go/Bash
• Proven track record of designing and developing Database as a service

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead PostgreSQL platform strategy across Dell's global fleet
• Design and implement Postgres-on-Kubernetes at scale using operators and storage architecture
• Build agentic/autonomous tooling for self-healing, VACUUM/analyze scheduling, and capacity alerts
• Author Infrastructure-as-Code modules (Ansible)
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and vendor negotiations
