Job summary

Kled AI is seeking a Database & Infrastructure Engineer (Full-Stack Systems) to scale our data layer supporting millions of files daily. You will optimize PostgreSQL-backed storage, design scalable data pipelines, and build internal tooling used across backend, ML, and product teams.

Ideal candidates have deep PostgreSQL expertise, experience with large datasets, and comfort delivering data-heavy infrastructure that powers frontier AI applications. Equity+base salary offered.

Qualifications

• Strong PostgreSQL expertise (indexing, partitioning, performance tuning).
• Experience with large datasets (100M+ records preferred).
• Deep understanding of storage systems (S3 or similar).
• Strong backend experience (TypeScript, Python, or similar).
• Comfort building internal tooling and automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and scale PostgreSQL (Supabase) infrastructure and queries.
• Design indexing, partitioning, and query strategies for large-scale media datasets.
• Improve performance across ingestion, enrichment, and retrieval pipelines.
• Build internal tools for querying and auditing large datasets.
• Create customer-ready dataset sample packs and automated exports to S3.
• Collaborate with backend, ML, and product teams to support new features.
