Job summary

Kled is building the world’s largest opt-in human data network. We seek a Database & Infrastructure Engineer to scale our data layer, optimize PostgreSQL (Supabase), and design efficient storage and retrieval for vast media datasets.

You will work across backend, ML, and product teams to deliver robust data infrastructure, build internal tooling, and craft secure delivery pipelines that power frontier AI training data.

Qualifications

• Strong PostgreSQL expertise including indexing and partitioning.
• Experience with very large datasets (100M+ records).
• Deep understanding of object storage (S3 or equivalent).
• Solid backend experience in TypeScript or Python.
• Ability to build internal tooling and automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and scale PostgreSQL (Supabase) infrastructure.
• Design indexing, partitioning, and query strategies for large datasets.
• Improve performance across ingestion, enrichment, and retrieval pipelines.
• Build internal tools for querying and auditing large datasets.
• Create customer-ready dataset sample packs.
• Design and automate dataset exports and delivery pipelines (S3, secure transfers, custom formats).
• Collaborate with backend, ML, and product teams on new features.
