Overview

Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to help execute municipal water and wastewater projects for our Texas clients.

Responsibilities
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of various sizes.
  • Performs engineering work in process design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including engineering services and construction management.
  • Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Works on engineering designs, prepares reports, develops plans, prepares specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various water projects.
  • Prepares technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and works through the construction phase on the projects.
  • Supervises or coordinates the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • 6-12 years of water/wastewater project experience.
  • Experience includes water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain within six months.
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large-sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage project teams.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in environmental engineering.
  • Design and construction phase experience.
Pay Range

An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
