Minimum of 6 - 10 years of experience in the planning and design of water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure. Experience should include hydraulic and mechanical designs for water and wastewater pumping stations, storage facilities, and treatment plants. Knowledge of piping, valving, and pumping design for water distribution and wastewater collection systems is required. Ability to coordinate designs with electrical, survey, civil, structural, architectural, and environmental disciplines. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and permitting related to water and wastewater systems. Experience in preparing contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
