Qualifications

• PhD conferred within five years in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in condensed-matter theory, semiconductor transport, acoustics, nonlinear dynamics, computational physics, electromechanics, mesoscopic physics, or theoretical device physics.
• Experience developing analytical or numerical models of coupled physical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop theoretical frameworks for acoustoelectric systems in strongly interacting and nonlinear regimes.
• Establish a unified description of coupled dynamics of acoustic excitations and electronic transport beyond perturbative treatments.
• Collaborate with experimentalists to interpret observed phenomena and guide new experiments.
• Contribute to a broader theoretical framework for acoustoelectric interactions in piezoelectric-semiconductor heterostructures.
