Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or related field.
• Experience in preclinical studies of probiotic therapeutics is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preclinical development of probiotic therapeutics for diabetes and metabolic disorders.
• Design and conduct PK, bioavailability, toxicology, dose-response and efficacy studies in rodent models.
• Engineer and characterize probiotic strains and develop bioanalytical assays.
• Analyze data and prepare manuscripts, grant applications, and regulatory documentation.
