Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in coastal and environmental engineering research is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop two- and three-dimensional computational models of hydrodynamic flow and waves and contribute to research software.
• Develop and maintain the Proteus toolkit for computational methods and simulation.
• Draft whitepapers and proposals regarding coastal modeling software.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students and present seminars.
• Support rigorous, reproducible research and professional development.
• Other duties as assigned.
