Job summary

The Center for Excellence in Post-Harvest Technologies (CEPHT) at North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to study the metabolic interactions of dietary polyphenols and endogenous metabolites.

The successful candidate will conduct scientific research, produce peer-reviewed publications, and provide technical assistance to graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in nutrition/food science, natural products, analytical chemistry, or other closely related fields.
• Experience with MS instrumentation: LC-MS, GC-MS, and chemical derivatization.
• Extensive experience operating and maintaining MS instruments and data analysis software.
• Experience in qualitative analysis of polyphenol metabolites and trace-level analysis of biomolecules in vivo.
• Knowledge in mass-based metabolomic research.
• Knowledge in natural product chemistry.
